Blanquette is a character belonging to the world of the Shadowrun ttrpg. To illustrate him, i went through the process of creating a fully rigged character.

Blanquette being a Satyr, i made sure to sculpt his model to corresponds to their specificities, most notably regarding the facial structure described by the universe.
I also made the use of face scans that i baked upon his UVs to render pores and such.


Who says Cyberpunk says augmentations, and this character sure isn’t an exception to this. Creating the mechanical design for these implants was a challenge not only due to their mechanical nature, but also due to the specific anatomy of Satyrs.
To ease with the posing process, i configured the rig to automatically extend or retract the pistons depending on the pose.
While the model is not optimized for use in real-time engines, it is still made with some degree of performance in mind.
By retopologizing, and baking normal maps the coat of Blanquette drops down to 1200 faces.
